Sunday is a Funday

Goodbye weekend and hello Monday. Sunday is your farewell to two free days of family, friends, and fun. I had a great day today spent with my husband and family, eating, drinking and being merry.

Today’s main event was wine tasting at a Orfila Winery. From the terrace you have unending views of the mountains in Escondido. Grapevines run like veins over the hills pulsing with grapes to keep them alive. What started as a blazing sunny afternoon quickly turned into a perfectly golden sun with a crisp breeze. Everything from the wine, to the view was perfect. I treasure days like today and look forward to the next weekend spent with my dearest.
