As a San Diego native, you must partake in #nationalIPAday. Our first choice was Ballast Point (obviously). That didn’t work out well due to the crowds! They had a huge array of different IPA’s that you can’t normally get.
Instead, we headed down to Karl Strauss Gardens for our celebration. The environment was much quieter and very pretty. I had never been to this location so it was a neat experience! Although they didn’t have anything special for national IPA day, their beer and food is always delicious! If you’re in San Diego, I definitely recommend going to either place. Oh, and definitely Stone Brewery as well!
